Adam Pearce became the new NWA World Heavyweight Champion on Sunday afternoon in Charlotte, NC at the NWA New Beginnings event at the University Hilton Hotel reports The Wrestling Observer. Pearce beat former champion Blue Demon Jr. and National champion Phil Shatter in a three way elimination match.

Lacey Von Erich stated on her Facebook page yesterday that effective Saturday (today), she begins formal wrestling training three times per week. She wrote: “YAY! My girls did so good monday, winning the gold for the BP’s. I’m happy to be a part of the glory (not that I did much) lol I start training this sat. 3 times a week! Can’t wait to get in the ring more! 
Love y’all!” TNA recently established a working relationship with the Orange County based Mach One Wrestling school/promotion to give company performers an official training location and as feeder of sorts for prospective talent.
